Malai Kofta
Ingredients
For Kofta
Paneer - 350 Grms
Plain Flour - 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1 level Tsp
Chopped Green Chillies - 4
Chopped Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp
Ghee for deep frying
Salt to taste
Preparation : Crumble the Paneer and Knead very well. Mix the
plain flour. Baking powder, Chillies, Coriander and Salt. Shape
into small balls and deep fry in ghee.
For the Gravy
Large Tomatoes - 4
Fresh Cream - 100 Grms
Ghee - 4 Tbsp
Chillie Powder - 1 Tsp
Salt to taste
To be ground into paste
Onion Large - 1
Grated Fresh Coconut - 2 tbsp
Garlic cloves - 7
Green Chillies - 2
Red Chillies - 2
Coriander Seeds - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Chironji (charoli) - 2 tbsp
Khus Khus - 2 tsp
Preparation : Cut the tomatoes into big pieces.
Add 4 cups of water and cook. When soft prepare a soup by passing
through a sieve.
Heat the ghee in a vessel and fry the paste very well. Add the
chillie powder and fry again for 1 Minute. Add the tomato soup,
cream and salt and boil the gravy for atleast 10 to 15 Mins.
